Here is a little story about our vintage car:
This beautiful automobile was built 1930 in Australia, the chassis by HOLDEN Co./Sydney - the engine by GM/USA. The vintage car was found in a barn in the center of Australia near Alice Springs and rested there over 35 years. About 14 years ago restored in Brisbane, Queensland. The experts used all of the possible original parts except the rear wooden frame which was eaten up by termites. They used new local hard wood. It was a real perfect restoration. After the work was done the" CHEVI" participated in a big international vintage car rally across the huge continent of Australia from the east to the west cost and finally was shipped to Germany for sale. Thats's how we have met on the Cologne Fair 1997.
